Dear Students, Friends, and Families of Florida College,

Because we understand the financial commitment involved in choosing to attend FC, the Northern California Hutchinson Bell Chapter is excited to introduce the Dotty Martin Scholarship, which will be awarded for the first time this year. This scholarship honors Dotty Martin and reflects the deep love that she had and her family has for Florida College. Through their generosity, this scholarship was created to support and encourage students from Northern California as they pursue their education and spiritual growth at FC.

The Dotty Martin Scholarship is open to any student from the Northern California area who will be attending Florida College in the Fall of 2026. This includes first-time students as well as returning students.

There are two simple steps to be eligible for a NorCal Bell financial scholarship. First, you or your family must be a NorCal CHB member for any student to be considered. Information on how to become a member is here. Second, students will need to download and complete the scholarship application form found below. As part of the application, and in honor of Dotty and her generosity, applicants are asked to submit a short essay describing what attending Florida College means to them.

The deadline to apply is June 1, 2026. After that date, the NorCal CHB Scholarship Board will review all applications and make its determination. The recipient of the Dotty Martin Scholarship will be announced on June 22, 2026 at the Florida College Unplugged Concert. More information on that concert to come.
